Bluewolf adds FinancialForce as strategic partner

Summary: The well-established Salesforce CRM consulting partner is extending its services deeper into the back office.

San Francisco-based Bluewolf, one of Salesforce.com's most competitive deployment and integration partners, has forged a strategic relationship with cloud billing expert FinancialForce.com.

Part of the Salesforce cloud applications developer ecosystem, FinancialForce provides accounting professional services and billing applications.

The new alliance will enable Bluewolf to create what it describes as 360-degree-view customer relationship systems that cover both the front office (through sales and marketing applications) and the back office (with bookings and billing systems).

The integrator has actually already done this for a couple of reference accounts; the new alliance just formalizes their relationship.

Here's some perspective from one of them, Jonathan Adlertstein, CIO of Plymouth Rock Energy:

Rather than invest in the maintenance of rigid, on-premises systems, the cloud frees us to focus on customizations and innovations that meet customer needs and create a first-move advantage in the market. Working with Bluewolf and FinancialForce.com, we have integrated our sales, customer care, marketing, and billing information in the cloud, enabling employees at every level to own any customer interaction.

The holy grail: To help organizations reduce the amount of time it takes to send invoices, which in turn should translate into a faster turnaround on receivables.
